Who we are: Dynamic & Experienced with a Passion for service

Mr. Bauer was born and raised in San Diego, CA. He obtained a Bachelor Degree in Literature and Writing, Summa Cum Laude from California State University, San Marcos in 2001. In 2001, he moved to New York to attend Hofstra University School   of Law. 

Soon after starting law school, he began a clerkship with a prominent Long Island law firm where he worked part-time throughout his schooling. This early exposure to the "real-world" practice of law helped instill in him a deep appreciation for the need to balance legal theories and concepts with common-sense, practical approaches to legal matters.

After passing the NY Bar in 2004, Mr. Bauer remained in NY for the next few years, working for two well-known New York City litigation firms. Having had the benefit of working in a law firm throughout law school, Mr. Bauer bypassed the typically steep learning curve for young associates when first introduced to the actual, everyday realities of being a lawyer. As a result, he was able to take advantage of opportunities not usually available to new attorneys, learning the "art" of litigation from some of the pre-eminent trial attorneys in NYC. 

However, longing for Southern California sunshine, and wanting to be closer to family, Mr. Bauer moved back to San Diego in 2007. After passing the CA Bar Exam that same year, he moved to Orange County where he continued in civil litigation, handling a broad range of matters from   automobile and premises liability cases to real estate, employment and business disputes on behalf of several well-known OC firms.

In 2012, Mr. Bauer having felt the call to serve his church and community, left his position as a Senior Associate at a law firm to establish one of the first church-based, free legal aid clinics in Orange County. At around the same time, he also became member of the faculty at a local law school where he taught courses on Torts, Evidence and Legal Research & Writing.
